Foster The People have released the music video for their newest single, “Coming of Age,” which is the first off of their forthcoming sophomore studio album, Supermodel. The record is set to come out March 18 via Columbia Records.

With retro film qualities and an abundance of clips of classic teenage memories, the video fits the song like a glove to a hand. You can view the new video for “Coming of Age” below.

Although “Coming of Age” is the first single off of the album, this is not the first music video for the song. The premier video made for the track features a time lapse of a mural being painted across the side of a building. Check out the first video for “Coming of Age” below.

In addition to viewing the new music video online, you can watch it on MTV, MTV2, mtvU and MTV Hits throughout the day today. VH1 will be airing the video on their Top 20 Countdown this Saturday at 9 a.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m. And if you preorder the album, you will receive an immediate download of the single.

So you have watched both music videos and are ready for Foster The People’s new album to hit record stores and online in March, but now what do you do? If you are thirsty for even more Foster The People material, they have also come out with a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the music video. Take a look at the band’s vision with “Coming of Age.”

Winter 2014 Editorial Intern As a kid, I liked pretty terrible music. I was quiet, mousy, and weird–that is, until my dad introduced me to the Beatles, the Allman Brothers, and all that classic Rock and Roll. I remain weird, but am now weirdly in love with bands like Sleeping In The Aviary, the Shouting Matches and Man Man (seriously, what are you doing reading this…go check those bands out!). If, for some reason, you decide I am interesting enough to contact, shoot me an email at [email protected].
