Frank Iero on Joe Jonas' MCR rumor: "You're a Disney band, bro"

Last month, the Jonas Brothers sparked a rumor regarding the possible reunion of My Chemical Romance. Frank Iero quickly squashed the rumor in an interview with the Asbury Park Press ahead of Atlantic City Warped Tour.

Now, Iero is addressing Joe Jonas’ comment on allegedly hearing MCR rehearsing right next to them.

To backtrack, Joe claimed that while they were rehearsing in New York, MCR were apparently there rehearsing right next to them.

“I’ve got some dirt. My Chemical Romance apparently were rehearsing next to us in New York recently, which I thought they broke up, so I don’t know.”

Iero quickly squashed the rumor but didn’t entirely shut out the possibility of a reunion in the future.

“I survived a bus accident, so anything is possible,” Iero said.

Earlier this month, Iero poked fun at the situation even more by spoofing the incident on Instagram.

“I got a little dirt for you. A little scoopy poop. Apparently, the Ramones are playing down the hall from us in Moscow. Thought those guys were supposed to be dead or something. Don’t know what that’s about,” Iero said.

Now, during an interview on the Zach Sand Show, Frank Iero addressed Joe’s comments regarding the alleged MCR reunion.

“I don’t understand why you would do an interview about your band and talk about someone else’s band…

I think they’re trying to rebrand their band as a real rock band and they’re trying to mention as many rock bands and trying to get like synonymous with other things and people aren’t gonna forget that you’re a Disney band bro, sorry it’s not gonna happen.”
