Frank Carter delivers speech about respecting women at concerts—watch

Frank Carter has delivered a rousing speech about respecting women at concerts while on tour with the Rattlesnakes.

He starts by saying, “This is a crowdsurfing song,” and then goes on to say, “But like all great things in life, there's a rule: women only.”

“I never ever had the perspective that I have now,” Carter says. “I've got a little girl, and I refuse to allow her to grow up in a world where she does not feel safe stage diving and crowd surfing. I'm so sorry it took me this long—forgive me.

“You are going to treat these girls with the respect they fucking deserve because they could be your mother, your sister, your wife or your daughter—but, most importantly, they are your fucking equal,” he continues. “This song is for the ladies. We love you, and we respect. Thank you very much for doing everything you do.”
