From First To Last formed in 1999 originally with vocalist Phillip Reardon, who left the band in 2004. Moore then sang on the band’s following two releases, Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count and Heroine. Heroine peaked at the No. 25 spot on the Billboard 200.

Moore left in 2007 to pursue a solo career as Skrillex.

On January 13, Blink-182's Mark Hoppus posted a photo on his Instagram account with Moore and FFTL guitarist Matt Good, Travis Barker and producer John Feldmann titled “Studio hangs.” You can check out the photo below.

Good revealed that new FFTL music was being written back in May. When the band released their reunion album, Dead Trees (which featured Periphery’s Spencer Sotelo on vocals), Good said Moore was interested in some sort of collaboration, but his schedule seems to have never lined up with the rest of the band’s until now.

Sonny Moore posted the track on both his Instagram and Twitter with the caption “Happy Birthday” and even though it's his birthday, it feels like a gift to us!
