“I went to them and said, ‘Listen, I just talked with my lawyers and some of my creative team and they said, ‘Andy, you got to pull that thing. That can not go into this documentary,’” King said.

“And when I sat with the director, he said, ‘Andy, you don’t understand: Without that scene, there isn’t a documentary.’ I said, ‘Oh come on, there’s no way.’ They said, ‘Trust me.’ And that is an integral part, as you know, of the documentary itself.’”

However, King says he doesn’t regret having the seen kept in now.

“I probably wouldn’t be where I am today if it were taken out. I mean how I’ve become this social media hero over a situation like that, I’m in total shock,” he said.

In case you’re not in the loop, the scene goes a little like this.

Billy McFarland, head scammer of this festival, encouraged King as their “wonderful gay leader” to prepare to “suck dick to fix this water problem.”

And you know what? King was ready for it.

“I got into my car, to drive across the island to take one for the team. And I got to [the customs officer’s] office, fully prepared to suck his dick,” King recalls in the Netflix documentary.

Luckily, the officer “couldn’t have been nicer” and simply requested that he be paid the required sum of money.

You can see the scene for yourself below.

Since then, King has been given tons of opportunities, including getting his own show.
