This Fyre Festival-inspired pizza looks worse than the real thing

Just in case you ever wanted to know what a Fyre Festival-inspired slice of ‘za tasted like, you’re in luck. A New Jersey-based chain called Villa Italian Kitchen has just created a special slice of pizza called “the Festival Pyzza.” The menu addition is meant to emulate the food that stranded millionaires had to eat during the biggest music festival disaster of all time.

According to Munchies, the Festival Pyzza is a bare slice of pizza featuring exactly three slices of processed cheese. Additionally, the luxurious pizza costs a whopping $25 per slice .

“Introducing the greatest pizza that never happened: our Festival Pyzza, a new luxury pizza experience exclusively for the wealthiest consumers and industry influencers,” Villa Italian Kitchen says in a Facebook post. “Made with only the finest fresh ingredients available including sauce made from California tomatoes, hand-stretched dough and premium individually-packaged processed cheese product.”

For comparison purposes, check out what the actual Fyre Festival attendees had to eat back in 2017.

Villa Italian Kitchen announced their latest menu addition yesterday, following the very successful Netflix and Hulu documentaries about the festival.

Of course, the new pizza addition is meant to make fun of the disastrous event. However, their regular menu items look nothing short of mouth-watering.

In other Fyre Festival-related news, blink-182 may be to blame for the festival’s disastrous outcome. In an interview with NME, Matt Skiba says he used witchcraft to attempt to foil the festival’s plans.
