G-Eazy dropped an indie song and the internet doesn’t know how to react

G-Eazy is best known for being a rapper but his latest song sees him branching away from hip-hop beats into melodically-tinged indie rock.

He revealed “Free Porn, Cheap Drugs” earlier today and it’s far from the type of music you’re used to hearing from him.

The rapper is considering this to be a new chapter of his life as he’s been posting through the teasers leading to this track.

Now, we’re getting to hear that new chapter and it’s going to be a bit of a shock for some G-Eazy fans.

The Warped Tour alum is turning in the deep 808 bass bumps of his old music for soft acoustic guitars and dreamy atmospheric tones.

A lot of fans seem to be taking the stylistic change well though and are praising G-Eazy for evolving his sound.
