Gal Gadot addressed the involvement of producer Brett Ratner, who has been accused of sexual harrassment by six actresses, in Wonder Woman 2 during a interview on Today. When asked if she refused to sign up for the sequel if the producer was involved with the franchise, Gadot replied that a lot has been written on her views because she's not hiding her feelings about the situation, but “the truth is, there’s so many people involved in making this movie, it’s not just me, and they all echoed the same sentiments.”

“Everyone knew what was the right thing to do, but there was nothing for me to actually come and say, because it was already done before this article came out,” she continued.

Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge were among the actresses who spoke out about Ratner. Henstridge stated Ratner was the producer who masturbated in front of her on the set of X-Men: Apocalypse, which she wrote about on her book Suck It, Wonder Woman!: The Misadventures of a Hollywood Geek.

As soon as the allegations came out, Gadot took to Instagram to express her views.

The actress reportedly backed out of an awards dinner honoring Ratner in late October.

Although Warner Bros. severed ties with Ratner right after the allegations, his first-look deal with the studio had already expired, according to Variety.
