Gerard Way drops final 'Collapser' issue written by Mikey Way

Gerard Way has been pretty busy with his work in the comic book world plus his Netflix show The Umbrella Academy, and he’s dropping the final issue of his brother Mikey Way‘s first comic Collapser.

The final issue ends the series which began back in April and marked the first comic book collab between the two My Chemical Romance brothers.

The series started back in April following the resurgence of Young Animal, a DC Comics imprint that Gerard Way helped establish.

Following a hiatus about a year ago, Collapser marked the return of the trade name.

Mikey’s collaboration with The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys author Shaun Simon follows protagonist Liam James’ adventures after the discovery of a black hole that sets up shop in his chest.

Now the series is coming to an end with the final issue hitting stands.

You can see Gerard’s post about the final issue below.
