The Ghost Inside tease first new music since 2015 accident

The Ghost Inside seems to be working on new music since their serious bus crash in 2015.

The band gave a sneak peak of them in the studio in response to a fan on Twitter who asked how their recovery was going.

“How’s your recovery going? Any chance you’ll be back to making musics guys we miss you feel better,” the fan wrote.

The band’s official Twitter account responded with a photo of vocalist Jonathan Vigil, drummer Andrew Tkaczyk and bassist Jim Riley appearing to be working on new material. The photo was accompanied with three winky faces to tease fans.

In November 2015, the band was involved in a horrible bus accident that killed the driver and everyone in the other vehicle. All members of the band and crew survived, but the band has faced a long mental and physical recovery since.

Last May, the Ghost Inside shared a statement about their future.

“Spending a week together as bandmates answered the question that has been on all of our minds—yes there is a future for TGI,” the band shares in a Facebook post. “We still aren’t sure exactly what it looks like. It might be one show, it might be a few shows. It could be a new song or a whole new record. Our journey into that future is just beginning, and we will bring everyone that is interested along with us.”

In April, the band got together for their first rehearsal since the accident and put part of it on Facebook live.

The Ghost Inside hasn’t released music since 2014’s Dear Youth. Let’s hope their recovery continues to go well and they will release something new as soon as they can.
