The band also announced that they will be headlining a benefit festival for the victims of last month’s Capital Gazette shooting that killed five people.

The festival is still in its early stages, but we do know that it’s set to take place on July 28 in Annapolis, Maryland, and as of right now, Good Charlotte are the only band on the lineup.

Speaking of the festival, Benji Madden shared:

“I don’t know what we can bring to it, other than we just want to be involved in supporting the city,” Madden told the Capital Gazette. “Obviously, we’re all shocked [from the shooting]. We’re all kind of speechless. These are moments when you really don’t know what to do to help.”

Good Charlotte recently announced a fall tour. The Generation Rx tour kicks off Oct. 12 in Mexico City, Mexico and it wraps up Nov. 24 in Las Vegas, Nevada with tour support still to be announced.
