Good Charlotte premiere new single

The comeback is real: Good Charlotte have premiered the first single, “40 Oz. Dream,” from their forthcoming album on Apple Beats 1 radio where it was the World Record. Check out the video here at Rolling Stone, and be sure to leave us a comment with your thoughts.

“For us '40 Oz. Dream' was the perfect song to kick off our new album,” guitarist Benji Madden says to Rolling Stone. “It's got all the sarcasm and humor we've always loved, and lots of affection for the past and present. As a band that formed in 1996, it's a fun moment to be welcomed back so warmly. We're very happy to have found our place in 2016.” The colorful, nostalgic video was directed by Benji and Joel Madden's brother Josh.

“40 Oz. Dream” comes from Good Charlotte's comeback album Youth Authority, which will be released just days before their headlining stint on Vans Warped Tour this year, on Friday, July 15 via tha Madden brothers' label MDDN. Good Charlotte will also be performing at this year's APMAs! Before that, catch Good Charlotte touring on the east coast this April.
