Why’s Google saying Wolverine is in ‘Avengers: Endgame’?
Go home, internet. You're drunk.December 31, 2018
It appears a simple Google search is leading some Marvel fans to believe that Wolverine could crop up in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame, the anticipated sequel to 2018’s intergalactic superhero saga Infinity War. But, wait, The Wolverine himself Hugh Jackman isn’t actually tabbed for the imminent entry from Thanos’ worst enemies, is he?
That’s gonna be a no, Complex reports. Although a handful of Twitter users shared some screenshots showing Google’s erroneous inclusion of Jackman in the next Avengers adventure, it seems the rumor isn’t true that Wolverine makes a cameo in Endgame, which hits theaters in the U.S. this April. See the apparent Google error in the tweets below:

Jackman’s previously said he’s put the Wolverine role behind him. In a Good Morning America interview from last year’s promotional run for Logan, the actor revealed some words of wisdom he received from none other than Jerry Seinfeld. Specifically, the comedian imparted a maxim to the Greatest Showman about knowing when to stop.
“He said it’s important to know when to go,” Jackman recalled. “Not as in finishing on top. But knowing that, as a creative person, if you tap yourself out and you’ve gone on too long, it’s almost impossible to kind of keep going afterwards.”
And this isn’t the first time Google’s reportedly flubbed info about an upcoming movie. As noted by Comic Book Resources, it recently listed Josh Brolin (Avengers‘ aforementioned archenemy Thanos) as appearing in this month’s Aquaman.
