Google search result pages might look different soon

Google search result pages might be getting a new look soon, as one Reddit user is pointing out.

Reddit user DiscombobulatedLead spotted the shift, explaining that the company is testing a new “material search results layout,” which Google developed in 2014 to expand on the card motifs that debuted in Google Now.

As Mashable explains, the new layout will reportedly display results in “card boxes” with “defined borders.”
