When we last checked in on Gorillaz, the beloved virtual band from the creative minds of Blur's Damon Albarn and artist Jamie Hewlett were already planning another new album after last year's Humanz. And now, the group have unveiled new song “Hollywood” live—watch it down below.

As reported by Consequence Of Sound, the band debuted “Hollywood” at a recent gig in Santiago, Chile. Albarn first mentioned the tune's existence in an interview with Billboard late last year, and while the group have apparently fleshed out the track during some concert soundchecks, this is the first live performance of the new song in full.

Hewlett already confirmed that Gorillaz would drop a new record this year, according to the NME. While Humanz was the band's first album since 2010's The Fall, last October's release of bonus track “Garage Palace” (featuring rapper Little Simz) suggested the group were working at a faster pace, which the artist and designer confirmed in a new interview.

“We are working on another Gorillaz album,” Hewlett said in the interview with art publisher Taschen, “which we're going to be releasing [in 2018]. So we're going straight into the next album with no break, which, usually, we have a good five-year break between each album. But we decided, you know what, let's keep going because there's ideas for a few more albums.”

The band have also recently been playing another new, unreleased song called “Idaho” (Albarn must have a thing for geographically-titled tunes right now), and you can catch a live video of that tune's concert debut right over here.
