Gorillaz debut new song, “Let Me Out,” featuring Pusha T and Mavis Staples—listen

Gorillaz are back with a new track “Let Me Out,” featuring Pusha T and Mavis Staples, from their forthcoming record Humanz.

The band returned after six years with the apocalyptic and politically-charged “Hallelujah Money” back in January, and they debuted four new songs—”Saturnz Barz,” “Andromeda,” “We've Got The Power” and “Ascension” last month. Give their four other tracks a listen here.

Gorillaz had been teasing their long-awaited comeback album, set to drop April 28, over the last few months. News surfaced that 26 songs have been registered to the Phonographic Performance Ltd website, a British-based music licensing company, and the band revealed both the title and release dates via Instagram. The band performed their album in full last month at Printworks London. For some behind the scenes footage, featuring the likes of Noel Gallagher, Pusha T and Danny Brown, watch the videos here. Plus, they confirmed that Noel Gallagher and Graham Coxon, as well as other guests from their forthcoming album, will be making an appearance at their first-ever Demon Dayz Festival.

“We’ve got pretty much everyone who’s on the record here. A few people couldn’t make it because they had other stuff that was booked in beforehand. But they’ll be all here when we play Margate,” Albarn said. “I’m not going to introduce everyone because I’d spend the whole evening doing that.”

Demon Dayz will be taking place June 10 at Dreamland, an amusement park, with the full line up to be announced soon. For fans who will not be able to make it to the festival, it'll be broadcast live via Red Bull TV.
