AJR release new song “Sober Up” with Weezer's Rivers Cuomo

A tweet from Weezer's Rivers Cuomo turned into the collaboration AJR only dreamed would happen. 

“'Sober Up' is a song about feeling too grown-up and wanting to re-access that innate, raw emotion that comes with being a kid,” AJR's Adam Met told AP. “Weezer has been a huge inspiration for AJR for a long time, so working with Rivers Cuomo on the song truly elevated the quirky story we were telling.”

Emo Nite LA is partnering with Urban Outfitters to sell their collection

You'll now be able to buy Emo Nite LA t-shirts, hats and a long sleeve tee at Urban Outfitters store and on the Urban Outfitters website. To celebrate this amazing partnership, Emo Nite LA is throwing a party at Space 15 Twenty where there'll be performances by DALES, SUPER WHATEVR, La Bouquet, Love Nothing and Luna Shadows, along with an emo themed yoga class and an art installation showcasing all of the art created for Emo Nites over the past 2 and a half years. This amazing party will take place during the weekend of June 23rd – 25th.

Tigers Jaw released a music video for their song, “June.” Give it a watch below!

Varsity Week announce debut EP, If You Only Knew

This five-song EP is set for release on June 23, 2017 via Another Century Records and will feature “Anyways” which AP premiered back in March.

Vocalist Brandon Eisenbeis explains, “We wanted to make something we all loved and would continue to be proudof for the rest of our lives. It's that simple. Working with Jim Kaufman and Kenny Carkeet was extraordinary, they were able to hone in our influences from all eras and genres, and weren't afraid of letting us work those ideas. They gave us free range in the studio and when we went in with no rules, we came out ourselves, Varsity Week.”
