Grammy Awards reveal 2020 rock category winners
The 62nd Grammy Awards was held Sunday, Jan. 26 at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.
Before the show even aired, all the winners for the Rock/Alternative categories were announced, with some of our favorites nominated.

Tool won the Grammy for Best Metal Performance for “7empest” from their record-breaking album Fear Inoculum. The band beat out Killswitch Engage, I Prevail, Death Angel and the Great Octopus.
As far as Best Rock Song, Gary Clark Jr. beat out the 1975, Tool, Vampire Weekend and Brittany Howard with “This Land”. Cage the Elephant also took home the Best Rock Album award, beating out I Prevail, Bring Me The Horizon, the Cranberries and Rival Sons. As far as Best Alternative Music Album, that went to Vampire Weekend for Father of the Bride.
Gary Clark Jr. also took the award for Best Rock Performance for “This Land” and Soundgarden won the Grammy for Best Recording Package.
