Grayscale announce sophomore album, new video after weeks of teasing

Grayscale have released a brand new song and finally announced their upcoming album to fans. 

The band has been heavily teasing fans by erasing their social media, blacking out their profile pictures and dropping some cryptic videos and tweets.

It looks as though the taunting is going to continue, but at least they dropped a song to put us out of our misery. 

The new song is called “In Violet” and debuted on PopCrush. You can listen to it below. 

Then, the band tweeted that they had a “massive announcement to make” and sent fans in the responses crazy.

After making fans wait, the band finally revealed that they’re releasing their upcoming album, Nella Vita, on September 6 through Fearless Records.


As previously stated, the band’s been teasing us. After wiping their socials, they dropped a cryptic teaser video that sparked some rather hilarious fan comments.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting an album announcement from the band, hoping for a followup to 2017’s Adornment in the near future.

Back in May, the band released the track “Painkiller Weather” to hold us over, but honestly, it just left us even more eager for new music.

“‘Painkiller Weather’ is a song about being hopelessly in love with someone who can’t put love in front of their vice,” the band said in a statement. “It’s about trying to understand how they think and feel what they feel. We’re excited to have new music out for the first time in two years.”
