Grayscale give “Tommy’s Song” emotional live debut with gospel choir

Grayscale finished up their North American headlining run in their hometown of Philadelphia and brought out a gospel choir to make the live debut of one of their new songs extra special. 

The band have been on tour in support of their latest album Nella Vita, which dropped earlier this year.

To honor the album and ending the run at home, they played “Tommy’s Song” live for the first time. The song is a tribute to frontman Collin Walsh’s late cousin. 

With the live debut, the band also performed alongside a gospel choir to make the song even more emotional. You can see a video of the performance below.

Last month, Grayscale released a video for their track “YOUNG” that’s all about the positive aspects of different people’s human experience. The song comes from the band’s latest album. 

The video shows people from all different backgrounds just enjoying life and doing whatever it is they do. The entire video just radiates positive vibes. 

Grayscale shared the new video with a short message on Twitter. 

“Let’s be better to one another. We’re in this together, it starts with us. YOUNG music video out now,” they wrote.
