Green Day, Halsey to perform at 2019 MTV European Music Awards

MTV has dropped the first round of performers for the 2019 European Music Awards that includes Halsey and Green Day. 

Halsey massive song with BTS “Boy With Luv” is nominated for Best Collab that night. She is also up for Best Pop and Best Look.

Green Day are also nominated for the Best Rock category against Imagine Dragons, Panic! At The Disco, Liam Gallagher and the 1975. 

Rosalia, Akon, Becky G,  Ava Max and Mabel will also perform at the music awards shows. The final three artists listed are making their debut on the EMA stage. 

 

The EMAs made the huge announcement via social media. 

The 2019 MTV EMAs will take place Nov. 3 in Seville, Spain. You can see the full list of nominees here

Halsey has been gifting us with a lot of new music lately, most recently dropping an intense video for her song “Graveyard” off her upcoming album Manic

It starts off with Halsey drawing in her room late at night. Then, the girl she draws comes to life and they become inseparable.

The video stars Euphoria actress Sydney Sweeney, who also stars alongside Machine Gun Kelly and Pete Davidson in the film Big Time Adolescence.

Green Day have also been gifting us with new tunes and tour announcements lately. They recently dropped the second single “Fire, Ready, Aim” during an NHL game that comes from the band’s upcoming album Father Of All… out February 7, 2020. You can see a video of that below. 

The band revealed their upcoming album by dropping its title track when the Hella Mega Tour with Fall Out Boy and Weezer was announced. It’s the followup to 2016’s Revolution Radio and the band’s thirteenth studio album. You can preorder it here.

The Hella Mega tour kicks off June 13 in Paris and will run throughout Europe, the U.K. and North America with the Interrupters as support. Green Day will be prefacing the tour with solo appearances in Europe and Asia. You can get tickets here and see the dates here
