Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Weezer give new songs live debut at intimate gig

Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy gave fans a teaser of what’s in store for the Hella Mega Tour with an intimate show to celebrate the major announcement.

In case you’re unaware of what’s going on, yesterday the three bands announced they’re teaming up for a massive stadium tour for the summer of 2020.

To get fans more excited, they performed an exclusive show at Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles to celebrate. Now, we have some clips of how the show went and the setlists to make our FOMO about missing the event even worse.

The audience was filled of famous faces like Courtney Love, Ashton Irwin of 5 Seconds Of Summer and more.

Each of the bands played their new tracks from their upcoming albums. Green Day played “Father Of All…,” the lead track from their thirteenth studio record of the same name, not once, but twice.

The band also played several beloved tracks during their set including “Jesus of Suburbia,” “Basket Case” and more. You can see clips from their set below as well as the full setlist.

It’s 1 in the morning and I can’t fucking sleep because I’m too excited about what just happened to me. I found out about Green Day going back on tour and having a little secret show at The Whisky on Monday, when I went back to work after a week of being sick. Not being able to share how happy I was was really hard for me.

I knew before everyone else where and when they would play, but even with that show at The Whisky, I though I could never get in and was expecting to wait another year. I never though when I woke up this morning, that I would actually get to go The Whisky tonight and see them performing in front of 400 people. After 15 years, this is what Los Angeles gives me. A private show of @weezer , @falloutboy and @greenday. Sometimes I just can’t believe how lucky I am. This city has given me so many opportunities, and continue to amaze me over the years.

It’s like a dream and I hope I’ll get to enjoy this as much as I can. @greenday means so much to me, I can’t even find the words to describe how I’m feeling right now. Man, I though I was done with my Emo phase but I think it’s back now. Thank you Bobby, thank you @livenation ?? #greenday #hellamegatour #hellamega #whiskyagogo #weezer #falloutboy #livenation #liveperformance #concert #music #punk #rock #frenchie #losangeles #sunsetstrip #toulouse #reunionisland #france
