Green Day to hold special Facebook Live performance to support Hurricane Harvey relief efforts

Green Day are joining the list of other bands supporting the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, and they’re doing it in a very special way.

Today, the band will be hosting a special Facebook Live performance to support Americares. See how you can be a part of it below.

The band said they will be going live at 4 p.m. EST to raise money for the cause. There will be a donate button available, or by texting HERO to 20222, you can donate $25 to Americares, which helps to provide disaster relief.

According to their site, Americares is in Texas now, distributing water, aid and mobilizing medical outreach with their local partners. Read more on Americares and their Hurricane Harvey relief efforts here
