What are Green Day up to?
It looks like the band may be recording some new stuff, as evidenced by a recent photograph of Billie Joe Armstrong uncovered by Green Day Authority. Check it out below.

The image in question, showing Billie Joe inside an Australian recording studio, was posted on Instagram by producer Charlie Young. Apparently taken at Crank Recording in Perth, it’s captioned, “Recording Green Day,” leading to fan speculation as to what exactly the Green Day guys are working on.
Here’s what GDA had to say upon their inspection of the post:
“[It] shows a relaxed-looking Billie Joe standing by a guitar rig, with a drum kit visible to one side. The other band members aren’t pictured, though the photo’s caption suggests that they may have been present.”
Will we be getting new Green Day material sooner than later?
