Ah, Merry Christmas from Green Day. Back in 1991, the band decided to put on a special Nativity play at a show to celebrate Christmas—in the most punk way, of course.

The show took place at The Den, a DIY space in England, as Noisey reports.

And Green Day decided to put their own spin on things too, with Mike Dirnt narrating the tale, Tre Cool playing Mary and Bille Joe playing a wiseman.

There are a lot of interesting costumes, plenty of silly string and the Easter bunny? Yeah, you’ll just have to see it to believe it.

Merry Christmas, folks.
