Green gummy bears have been lying to you your entire life

What flavor do you think Haribo’s green gummy bears are? Lime? Apple? Lime-apple? If you’re like me and answered yes to any (or all) of those, you’re entirely wrong. As Buzzfeed points out, the gratifying green gummies are actually strawberry-flavored. Crazy, right? And as if that wasn’t mind-blowing in itself, according to Haribo’s online FAQ, red gummies are actually raspberry, not cherry.

Even though you probably just shove fistfuls of them into your mouth at a time, not caring whatsoever about which flavor you’re experiencing, now you’re actually aware what you’re consuming.
