Guy arrested for DUI in Taco Bell parking lot told police he was waiting for tacos he never ordered

Over the weekend, 25-year-old John Edward Hopwood went to Taco Bell for some food—while completely wasted. So much so that he fell asleep in the drive-thru before even placing his order, (via Gainesville.com). 

After being awoken by an employee, Hopwood was instructed to move his car to a parking space and wait for the food he never ordered.

Police soon found Hopwood in the parking space, yet again sleeping. An officer woke him up and told him he had failed a field sobriety test.

He responded by saying that he was simply waiting for the tacos he ordered. It was later confirmed that he never ordered any tacos.
