Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale got patriotic at the Syracuse vs. Binghamton hockey game this past Friday night. The frontwoman sang the National Anthem to kick off the heated match between the Syracuse Crunch and the Binghampton Devils in New York.

Hale’s rendition of the National Anthem brought the perfect touch of grit as her vocals echoed over the ice rink. You can watch a video of the full performance below.

Additionally, the Syracuse Crunch left Hale a special surprise. The singer was overjoyed when she took to Instagram to share that the New York hockey team made a custom-made a jersey for her, complete with her favorite number.

“Thank you so much to the @syracusecrunch for having me to SING the National Anthem tonight,” Hale says in the post. “What an honor!

The “dream was made complete” when the Crunch defeated the Binghampton Devils with a score of 5-3. The win over Devils extends the hockey team’s winning streak to six in-a-row.
