Halsey, YUNGBLUD perform “11 Minutes” live for the first time

Not only did Halsey, YUNGBLUD and Travis Barker drop their latest collab “11 Minutes” yesterday, the song made its live debut as well. At his Sydney show, YUNGBLUD invited Halsey to join him onstage to play the song live for the first time.

After Halsey tweeted that she would be doing a surprise meet and greet, some fans started to speculate that a performance of the song may be coming as well. The day prior, Halsey additionally tweeted that she had gotten a tattoo in Adelaide, where YUNGBLUD was playing.

“Can’t believe there’s a new song out RIGHT NOW and I’m about to do a free surprise meet & greet in a country I wasn’t even supposed to be in for months,” Halsey says in a tweet. “We love spontaneity.”

Following Halsey’s tweet, many fans had the opportunity to actually meet the duo while experiencing a fun pop-up shop, where fans could get their hands on exclusive “11 Minutes” merch.

However, despite the song’s exciting debut, many people were not too keen on the pair’s pop-up and meet and greet setup.

Luckily, the surprises didn’t end there. Australian fans continued to have a history-making Valentine’s Day when Halsey and YUNGBLUD performed “11 Minutes” live. Check out the duo rocking out together at the Factory Theatre below.

Following the success of Halsey’s chart-topping “Without Me” and YUNGBLUD’s absolutely infectious “Loner,” the duo recruited blink-182‘s Travis Barker’s talents for an all encompassing collab, “11 minutes.”

“The song tells the story of a perfect tragedy that reflects modern love within our society,” YUNGBLUD explains. “We are so distracted and focused on what’s next, we can fail to see what is actually in front of us. We don’t realize how much we need something until it’s taken away from us.”
