Halsey's 'hopeless fountain kingdom' certified Platinum
Congratulations are in order for Halsey!
The singer's sophomore album, hopeless fountain kingdom, has officially been certified Platinum by RIAA after selling one million units.

Halsey shared the news on Twitter, thanking fans for the accomplishment.

As previously reported, Halsey and Sony Pictures have closed a deal to make the movie based on the singer's experiences, in which she will star.
In 2017, the singer landed her first-ever No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts for hopeless fountain kingdom, earning 106,000 equivalent album units, and of that, 76,000 were in traditional album sales. Even more? hopeless fountain kingdom was the first album by a woman to be No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
She's also been keeping busy both inside and outside of music (we're still stoked on that YSL collab), and Halsey explained that there are more tours, music videos and “a whole lot of other shit” in the books.
2018 is shaping up to be incredible for Halsey, and we're excited to see what else she'll come up with.
