A movie about Halsey's life is in the works, and we couldn't be more excited about it.

Halsey and Sony Pictures have closed a deal to make the movie based on the singer's experiences, reports Deadline.

And it gets better: Halsey will star in the film. We already know it's going to be amazing.

According to Deadline, Palak Patel—who produced Snow White And The Huntsman, Maleficent and more—is overseeing the project.

Last month, after announcing her hopeless fountain kingdom world tour, Halsey took to Twitter to respond to fans who were unhappy about the number of dates. At the time, she revealed that there are still dates to be announced—and she'd be “filming a movie for two months.”

Now we have reason to believe this project is the film she was mentioning.

We can see why Sony Pictures would want to make a movie about Halsey's life. The singer landed her first-ever No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts for hopeless fountain kingdom, earning 106,000 equivalent album units, and of that, 76,000 were in traditional album sales. Even more? hopeless fountain kingdom was the first album by a woman to be No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2017.

She's also been keeping busy both inside and outside of music (we're still stoked on that YSL collab), and Halsey explained that there are more tours, music videos and “a whole lot of other shit” in the books.

2018 is shaping up to be incredible for Halsey, and we're excited to see what else she'll come up with.

While we wait for more news about the movie, check out the hopeless fountain kingdom world tour dates below:
