While shoe shopping, Halsey talked about being in love with sneakers from a really young age and how she influenced her fans by wearing skirts and Adidas Superstars on her shows.

“My casual sneaker is definitely an Adidas. I have so much love for the culture of the brand,” she explains. “When I first started out, I wore Superstars on stage all the time. I started to show up to my shows back in 2013 and, if you drove past the lines of kids on the streets, every single girl was wearing a tennis skirt and Adidas Superstars, and they were doing that because I was wearing them. It made me realize the power I have as an artist to influence my fans.”

The singer also shares her boyfriend, G-Eazy, is even more obsessed with shoes than her, which it makes it hard to find the perfect pair to gift him.

Speaking of G-Eazy, he shared some details regarding Halsey's music.

“It's about me,” he tells Pop Buzz, with a laugh. “But for real, she's working on some stuff, and it's incredible. Amazing. She doesn't miss, I swear. Everything is incredible. If she writes it, it matters. If it doesn't, she moves on.”
