There's been a bit of drama surrounding the filming of this film, considering the film changed directors from Phil Lord and Christopher Miller to Ron Howard. Lord and Miller, who also directed 21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street and The Lego Movie, released the following statement following the announcement, “Unfortunately, our vision and process weren’t aligned with our partners on this project. We normally aren’t fans of the phrase ‘creative differences’ but for once this cliché is true. We are really proud of the amazing and world-class work of our cast and crew.”

This is almost seemingly becoming a normal thing for the Star Wars franchise, as it was announced that J.J. Abrams would be replacing Colin Trevorrow as the director for Star Wars: Episode IX.

And now it appears that another classic Star Wars character might be making a return to the big screen in the Han Solo movie. According to That Hashtag Show, Darth Vader will be appearing in the Han Solo movie.

Um, hell yes.

That Hashtag Show writes, “A source close to the production has revealed to us that someone … was on the set of Howard’s Han Solo reshoots in Darth Vader’s armor as recently as two weeks ago,”

The site also speculates that the role won't be played by Spencer Wilding, who played the role of the Sith Lord in Rogue One, due to “his pretty definitive statement that he isn’t involved.”

The Han Solo movie is scheduled to be released on May 25, 2018.
