‘Harry Potter’ reboot could happen according to Daniel Radcliffe

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe thinks that a franchise reboot is very likely. While speaking to IGN about his nonexistent role as the Wolverine, Radcliffe revealed that there is still life left in the beloved series — whether that be in the form of television or a remake of the films.

However, it appears as though Radcliffe is more interested in seeing other people take on the role over than himself.

“I’m sure there will be some other version of it,” Radcliffe says. “I know I’m not the last Harry Potter I’m gonna see in my lifetime.”

Following that, Radcliffe mentions that the series is already starting to be rebooted in other art forms, such as theater. According to IGN, the stage adaptation of the series, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child already features two different people in the role.

“It will be interesting to see how long those films stay,” Radcliffe continues. “It feels like there’s a sacredness around them at the moment, but that’ll go, the shine will wear off at some point. It’ll be interesting if they reboot them and just do the films again or do a series. I’m fascinated to watch.”

Daniel Radcliffe is currently gearing up to unveil his new comedy series, Miracle Workers. The show premieres tonight on TBS at 10:30 p.m. Check out the trailer for Miracle Workers below.

Recently, Radcliffe revealed his favorite Harry Potter film. Despite this installment not being the most popular, Radcliffe claims it was the most fun for him to film alongside The Deathly Hallows Part 2.
