We are so stoked for the newest AR game set to hit the market—Harry Potter: Wizards Unite—and lucky for us, we finally have an idea when it'll be released.

The game, which will come to life like Pokemon Go, will bring the wizarding world to our muggle world. As ComicBook.com shared, it's set to be released in the second half of this year, Niantic CEO John Hanke revealed to Financial Times.

Not to mention, Hanke said Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has learned a lot from Pokemon Go, so they're hoping their launch will be a bit smoother than what happened with Pokemon Go.

“In terms of dealing with public locations, government policy, regulations and public reaction to people being out in the real world, we have built up our expertise there,” Hanke says. “The ‘muggle’ world and the wizarding world are only separated by this thin veil. It’s very easy for us to imagine bringing that kind of magic into our everyday lives.”

As previously reported, the app is co-developed by Warner Bros. Interactive and its new sub-brand Portkey Games, and like “Pokemon Go,” players should be able to “roam the real world collecting power-ups, defending locations and exploring their environment.”

So while we wait for Harry Potter’s wizarding world to actually appear at our fingertips (like magic, right?), it looks like its time to listen to the Harry Potter soundtracks on vinyl and try out a magical Harry Potter bath bomb.
