Harry Potter spin-off novel will be movie trilogy, says JK Rowling

According to Mirror UK, esteemed Harry Potter author JK Rowling has revealed that her spin-off-novel-turned-film Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them will mark a new movie trilogy. Check out the tweet, in which Rowling replies to another user that the Harry Potter stage play Cursed Child will not be made into a movie and confirms the Fantastic Beasts franchise, below.

The first in the franchise, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them filming is already well underway with an expected release date in November. Where To Find Them stars Eddie Redmayne (known for his role as Stephen Hawking in the recent Oscar-winning film) and is set in Rowling's own wizard world.
