Promoters may have revealed that Hayley Williams' solo tour is canceled

Hayley Williams released her debut solo album Petals For Armor on May 8. Following its release, the Paramore singer was set to embark on tour this spring and summer. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, however, Williams was forced to reschedule the tour for a later date.

After months of waiting for the rescheduled Petals For Armor tour dates, fans are now receiving cancelation emails from promoters. This news could mean that the entire tour has been canceled.

Back in March, Hayley Williams announced that she would be touring in North America, the U.K. and Europe in support of Petals For Armor. So many people tried to get their hands on tickets that Ticketmaster even crashed when the tour went on sale. In the end, various dates of the tour sold out quickly out.

However, the coronavirus pandemic forced all of the tour dates to be rescheduled for a later time. Williams first announced the postponement of the tour in April. Since then, ticket holders have been waiting for new dates to be released.

Now, it looks like the Petals For Armor tour may be canceled altogether. This week, fans have been receiving emails from promoters saying that their Petals For Armor tour date has been canceled.

Many have reached out to Williams regarding the cancelations since an official statement has not been made yet. Earlier on Wednesday, the vocalist released a statement about the situation on Twitter.

“Hey friends,” she tweets. “I know a lot of you are getting word from promoters that the Petals For Armor dates are cancelled. I don’t fully have my shit together to be able to speak to it at the moment but I won’t leave ya hanging. What a year huh?”

At this time, it is unknown for the reported canceled tour dates will be rescheduled for a different time. Since many shows have been canceled amid the pandemic, some artists are choosing to fully cancel their tours and reschedule them for a later time. This is to allow ticket holders to receive refunds per Ticketmaster and Live Nation‘s refund policies.

No official statement regarding the Petals For Armor tour’s cancelation has been released.
