Hayley Williams returns to throwback hair color, internet loses it—UPDATED

UPDATE: MARCH 14, 2019, 7:00 P.M. EST

Following yesterday’s subtle hair reveal on her Instagram stories, Hayley Williams has now shown off a bit more of her ‘do.

The singer can be seen with professional hair and makeup artist/Good Dye Young Creative Director Brian J. O’Connor in a video for the brand. While she’s sporting a beanie, you can still see a good bit of her new (old?) look.

GDY also revealed on Twitter that the look isn’t straight Riot-branded color like we thought yesterday. Instead, it’s the famous orange hue mixed with the brand’s pink called Ex-Girl.

You can pick up both colors on their site here.

ORIGINAL STORY: MARCH 13, 2019, 4:11 P.M. EST

Hayley Williams has been plenty busy lately between her hair products line, Good Dye Young, and prepping her Bonnaroo self-love space.

However, the Paramore frontwoman is definitely not too busy to send the internet into a complete and total frenzy by sharing that she brought back an iconic hair era (or haira, if you will).

Last fall, Good Dye Young announced their products were heading to Sephora’s website. Earlier this week, the products hit the beauty store’s brick and mortar shops.

Williams and professional hair and makeup artist/GDY Creative Director Brian J. O’Connor headed to their local Sephora to see the displays for themselves.

After spotting the products, Williams gives the best dance-worthy reaction before stating, “It looks’s amazing—it looks better in real-life.”

Williams also posted on her personal account, expressing how proud she was.

A few days later, still in the excitement of the Sephora launch, Williams took to Instagram to share some more hair news.

“oookay got a lil carried away at Sephora. She back,” she writes while tagging GDY.

As evidenced by the photo, Williams went full on Riot mode, presumably using her own dye of the same name.

As expected, the internet completely lost it at the news.

Earlier today, Facebook and Instagram went down worldwide, sending social media users into a different kind of frenzy. GDY played into the equally panicked communities by stating, “Wow can’t believe Hayley’s new hair color broke Instagram ?‍♀️”

You can check out all of Good Dye Young’s products (including their latest shampoo and conditioner) on their website. If you’re looking to pick something up in-store, you can find Sephora locations here and Sally Beauty locations here.
