Hayley Williams wins the APMA for Best Vocalist

The first award was a big one at the 2015 AP Music Awards. Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams took home the honor for Best Vocalist presented by AXS TV—and rightfully so. The singer had a year with the success of Paramore’s self-titled album and huge singles like “Ain’t It Fun” and “Still Into You.”

Set It Off’s Cody Carson, Neck Deep’s Ben Barlow and Juliet Simms presented the award to the singer. During her acceptance speech, Williams said, “I love to sing funk music, punk music, pop music and most of all, I love to sing Paramore.” Well said, girl, well said.
