Hellyeah drop fiery new video for "Black Flag Army"

Hellyeah are dropping their first album since the death of their drummer Vinnie Paul on September 27 and we’re getting another new video from it now.

The band dropped a new music video for “Black Flag Army” today and it’s packed with some really cool fiery visual effects.

The video was directed by William “Wombat” Felch who also filmed the band’s previously released videos for the forthcoming album.

The track is appearing on their new record, Welcome Home, which will feature Paul’s final recordings with the band. The new album and tours are serving as a tribute to the late drummer.

The album was announced after the band made their emotional live debut following the death of Paul. At the event, Las Vegas Review-Journal columnist John Kats presented them with an official proclamation from the Clark County Board of Commissioners declaring May 11 as “Vinnie Paul Day.” Stone Sour drummer Roy Mayorga played drums at the show and will continue to perform with them this fall.

“While Vinnie Paul is obviously irreplaceable, one thing we can’t not do is tour. As easy as it would be to say we’re not going on the road, we have to,” bassist Kyle Sanders said. “Vinnie would be extremely disappointed in us if we didn’t promote this record properly. He’d be pissed off at all of us for putting all this work into finishing the record and then just letting it sit there on the shelf while we put a couple of songs to radio and whatever…and we know that.”
