In less than a week, Joe Biden is being sworn in as the 46th President Of The United States. For the historic inauguration, a lot of celebratory events are set to happen including the We The People concert.

The Jan. 17 virtual event includes a slew of familiar faces including AJR, James Taylor, Will.i.am and Fall Out Boy. Of course, FOB fans have a lot of reactions to the band performing for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris‘ big day.

In case you didn’t know, Fall Out Boy probably wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for Joe Biden. Back in 2008, when Barack Obama was running for president with his future VP Biden, Pete Wentz revealed just how he is connected to the future President of the United States.

“I would not be standing here actually in reality at all because my parents met working for Biden,” Wentz told the Associated Press. “They met on the campaign, so they have this particular affection for Joe. He came to their wedding. If it weren’t for Joe Biden, I would not exist as a human being.”

Shortly after Biden won the presidential election in November, Wentz shared a throwback photo of them together.

“My parents met working for Joe Biden in the Senate in the 70s. To me he is a beacon of empathy, compassion and kindness. The times we live in call for a leader with these specific traits. Proud to call Joe Biden my president.”

Despite last week’s Capitol riots and the impeachment trial of Donald Trump, Biden’s inauguration is going ahead as planned. The ceremony is happening on Jan. 20 on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol. Due to COVID-19, attendance will be limited.

Along with the We The People concert, there are quite a few other inauguration celebrations happening over the next week. On Jan. 14, we learned that Lady Gaga is singing the national anthem at Joe Biden’s inauguration. As well, Jennifer Lopez is performing a musical number.

Following the inauguration ceremony, a stacked lineup of artists are performing for the Celebrate America event. Earlier this week, Justin TimberlakeDemi LovatoJon Bon Jovi and Ant Clemons were announced as the first round of artists in the event’s lineup. Now, it looks like even more familiar faces are joining them.

Foo Fighters, Bruce Springsteen and John Legend have officially been added to the lineup for Celebrate America. So far, the artists have not revealed which songs they will be performing. However, it’s possible Foo Fighters may play their new song “Waiting On A War,” off of their forthcoming album Medicine At Midnight. The track debuted on Thursday in celebration of Dave Grohl‘s birthday.

Celebrating America will be available to watch on numerous platforms. The event, which will be hosted by Tom Hanks, starts at 8:30 P.M. ET on multiple platforms including ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and MSNBC.

For those of you that don’t have cable, you’re in luck. The entire special will be streamed on the Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC)’s social media channels. Additionally, it will also be available on Amazon Prime Video, Microsoft Bing, NewsNOW from Fox and AT&T DirecTV and U-verse.
