Here's what's new in the latest 'Star Wars: The Last Jedi' trailer

We're only a month out from the upcoming release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and it's hard not to freak out about the fact that it's so close.

If you've already bought your tickets and are anxiously awaiting the movie’s release, you might want to check out the latest TV spot, which has a few new glimpses at what’s new. That’s right, there’s some new footage to keep an eye on, even though there’s just a few seconds to sift through.

First, we see Finn getting a chance to spout the famous “May the Force be with you” line that everyone knows from Star Wars, and it kicks off a few scenes of Poe Dameron locked in space combat.

We also get to see Rey hanging out on Ahch-To as she becomes lightsaber-savvy, training that seems pretty dangerous if you have no idea what you’re doing. There’s also an action-packed encounter between Finn and Captain Phasma, which looks like it’s going to be a rollicking good time. Everyone gets a little screen time in this spot, in fact, besides Kylo Ren and Luke Skywalker, but at this point they’re ancillary characters anyway.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is scheduled for release on December 15, and if you didn’t already manage to grab your tickets, you might want to see if there are still tickets left for opening night at a theater near you. Early box office predictions are slotting it at over $215 million in the US alone, so it’s on track to make a lot of money. Not surprising, especially since it’s Star Wars, after all.
