It all began last week when fans believed frontwoman Cassadee Pope might be teasing an upcoming reunion.

Last Monday marked the 11 year anniversary of the band’s debut album Hold On Tight, which they released with Decaydance Records, which is run by Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz.

Hey Monday have been on a hiatus since December 2011, but a cryptic post from Pope made it sound like something was looming on the horizon.

“Happy 11th Bday, to our pre-teen ‘Hold On Tight!’ I can’t believe all the places #HeyMonday took me, literally & figuratively. I owe so much of my knowledge to this band & first album. Definitely giving it a listen today in honor. Psstt –Check back next Monday. #HeyItsMonday,” she wrote.

Yesterday, Hey Monday appeared to be active on Facebook once again, sharing a status for the first time in 7 years.

The official band page shared Pope’s previous album post, telling fans to check back Monday at 10:00 a.m. CT.

Now, it looks like Pope will be hosting a Hey It’s Monday/Pop Punk Night in Nashville, which will feature appearances from some special guests.
