Highly Suspect drop anime-themed “Tokyo Ghoul” video with Young Thug

Highly Suspect are gearing up to release their third full-length record, MCID, and after dropping a couple new songs at the end of summer, they’re back with another.

Their latest song, “Tokyo Ghoul,” arrives with a feature from rapper Young Thug as well as a fresh music video.

The song is officially labelled as a Highly Suspect song featuring Young Thug and Terrible Johnny, with the latter name referring to frontman Johnny Stevens’ rap persona.

You can watch the video in the player below.

In case you haven’t checked it out yet, the band dropped two new songs, “16” and “Upperdrugs,” back in August. They showcase the sound the band is aiming for with this record and we can’t wait to hear more.

“16” is about going through your first love and heartbreak and what it’s like when your first long-term relationship comes to an end. You can check out the new tracks below.

MCID, which arrives November 1st, is available for pre-order here. The album also includes collaborations with Gojira, Nothing But Thieves, and Tee Grizzley.

The band also announced a series of tour dates with Slothrust. You can see the band’s full list of upcoming dates below as well as preorder tickets here.
