Hit The Lights team with ESPN to premiere "Life On The Bottom" music video

Hit The Lights have teamed up with ESPN for the premiere of their “Life On The Bottom” music video. The clip, which was directed by Kyle Thrash (Modern Baseball, RJD2), documents boxing newcomer Ismael Villarreal as he trains for and competes in his first fight at the Golden Gloves Tournament in Brooklyn, NY.

“We've worked with Kyle Thrash so many times that we have complete trust in his ideas and abilities,” says vocalist Nick Thompson. “When he approached us about the idea for a video centered around Ismael, we were totally on board. The song made sense with Ismael's struggles and it's great to be able to give him some limelight while we take the back seat!”

“Life On The Bottom” is taken from the band's recently release studio album, Summer Bones, which was released earlier this year via Pure Noise Records.
