James Franco, the surprisingly diverse Hollywood actor and poet, will teach a high school-level film course at Palo Alto High School in Palo Alto, California. Franco announced the news via a social media post, below.

As odd as it may seem, this is not Franco's first time around the film-education block. The actor has previously taught film at NYU, as well as USC. The twenty-four students in Franco's film class will learn to produce a film that will be shown at a film festival at the end of the semester.
