'Holmes & Watson' is so bad, people are reportedly walking out mid-movie

A couple of days ago, it was revealed that the Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly-led film Holmes & Watson received a rare zero percent Rotten Tomatoes rating, and since its theatrical debut, things haven’t looked too promising for the mystery flick.

Following the disastrous Christmas Day film opening, it was soon revealed that the flick was so bad, that Netflix reportedly turned down the chance to buy it after it garnered poor test screenings.

Well, things are seemingly getting worse for the film, which now has a six percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, as people are reportedly walking out of the film mid-screening.

In a new report from Entertainment Weekly, it appears that media outlets and moviegoers alike aren’t fans of the Sherlock Holmes-inspired tale, so much so, that people are actually walking out of theaters midway through the film.

The film opened on Christmas Day, where it saw the reunion of Ferrell and Reilly ten years after they won everyone over in 2008’s Step Brothers.

While there were some high hopes for the flick, it ultimately failed at the box office, making it come in fourth on Christmas day with an estimated $6.4 million. Aquaman topped the day with $22 million, followed by Mary Poppins Returns with $11.6 million and Bumblebee with $8.9 million.

So, with little fanfare and a lot of horrible reviews (with maybe one or two positive ones sprinkled in here or there) many people have opted to leave the theater instead of suffering through the remainder of the film.
