Marilyn Manson shares heartfelt words after father's death

Hugh Warner, father of Marilyn Mason, has died at age 70. Manson took to instagram yesterday (July 7th) to reveal the news with a heartfelt post and a childhood photo with his father.

“Today I lost my father, Hugh Warner,” Manson writes. “He taught me how to be a man, a fighter and a survivor. He taught me how to shoot a gun. How to drive. How to lead. He will always be the best dad in the world. Somehow and somewhere, I know he is with my mom now. I will keep my promise and never let you down. I miss and love you dad.”

Just last month, Manson paid tribute to his father via Twitter with a photo from their 2015 shoot with Paper Magazine. 

This news comes three years after the death of Manson's mother, Barbara, who passed away on May 13, 2014.
