People laughed a lot watching Hulu in 2017: viewers streamed 36 percent more comedy movies than in 2016. This number might be influenced by Daddy's Home, which got 12 million views. Comedy TV shows were also pretty popular this year, and Family Guy, Bob's Burgers and Rick And Morty were some of the most watched.

It's Always Sunny In PhiladelphiaBrooklyn Nine-NineParks And Recreation and Black-ish are other comedies that saw an increase in viewership in 2017.

What else is popular? South Park, still. Viewers streamed more than 107 million hours, which is equivalent to 12,000 years, of the show. Season 20, episode 10 was the most watched.

Hulu also shared that most people prefer to watch TV with someone else, most with a partner or spouse and mainly on Sunday.

This all seems pretty OK, right?
