I Prevail premiere first song from new record

Listen up, I Prevail fans: The band have revealed more details about their debut albumLifelines. 

Listen to the first song released from the record, “Scars,” below.

Lifelines is due out later this year, and even more details about the album will be out later this month. You can pre-order the album now.

“'Scars' was the first song we wrote that really took things to another level. It instantly set the tone for the rest of the album,” vocalist Brian Burkheiser says. “I think it perfectly showcases our sound in terms of the riffs, electronics and big chorus, while still keeping the heaviness.

“We knew right away it was the song we wanted to lead with. As for the message, we were seeing so many people being either scared or bullied into a certain lifestyle by different aspects of society.  We still feel those pressures ourselves,” he continues. “This song is a message telling people to follow your dreams and be proud of who you are, regardless of what's going on around you.”

The White Noise, My Enemies & I and Bad Seed Rising are supporting I Prevail on their upcoming headlining tour. Check out the dates below the “Scars” video!
